New recycling program
We’re excited to share that we’re taking part in the Bausch + Lomb Every Contact Counts Recycling Program! This is Canada’s first free nationwide program, partnered with TerraCycle, that helps recycle used contact lenses, blister packs and foil lids from any brand.
Instead of tossing them in the trash or down the drain, this program helps keep millions of contact lenses and blister packs out of landfills and our water systems.
Here’s how easy it is:
- Collect your used contact lenses, plastic blister packs and foil lids in any reusable or single-use container or bag. Please ensure all items are clean and dry.
- Drop your items in the collection bin at our store.
- Start again! Repeat the cycle and continue collecting.
Once collected, the contact lenses and blister packs are cleaned and separated by material type, then recycled into raw materials used to create new products.
